Skilled Lighting Technician
As a Skilled Lighting Technician, I provided technical support and leadership for lighting across multiple venues managed by Auckland Unlimited. I directed Pack In/Pack Out crews, ensuring efficient event setup and teardown while meeting strict client and venue deadlines. My responsibilities included designing and operating lighting rigs for theatre productions, live music performances, and corporate events across diverse venues. I also assisted with office work, creating basic lighting rig plans for venues using Vectorworks, and supported production management staff by providing gear recommendations and aligning equipment with rider requests for events. I led staff training on grandMA3 lighting consoles, fostering technical proficiency and operational excellence. Additionally, I managed the inventory of lighting consoles, overseeing updates, maintenance, and cleaning. I ensured all lighting equipment adhered to AUS/NZ electrical standards through routine cleaning, testing, and repairs, maintaining optimal functionality and safety.

I had an 11 week Multi-Week program ages 7 - 13 that started off on the Bunny slopes, and progressed through to Blues and shorter Black runs skiing parallel.
